This is all what happened. I got at the hospital about 6:30 and checked in and sent to Surgical Daycare. There they took my blood pressure and temp and all that good stuff. I got to pee in a cup- more fun. Then I got to go sit a TV room and watch TV until a nurse came to get me.

We went took the elevator and went into a pre-surgical ward. The anesthesiologists, Dr. Hagen, came to talk to me and started my IV. She was all happy she didn't need a tourniquet to find my veins- they are great. Then she goes off for a bit and trips over the wire and almost pulls out my IV.

And waddling in Dr. Heed came by to see me, she's the surgeon and preggers (just a cool fact is all about her being pregnant no real bases for the story). A few minutes later they wheeled me into the OR and what not.

So a few minutes more and they wheel me into the OR...kinda freaky seeing the nurses and that. Kinda like walking into a horror film. Anyway I move onto the table and they strap the vital things to my back, and then they start the medications and and everything.

Woke half way up in recovery and had some ice chips, and had oxygen on. I know i was in and out for awhile. I remember having ice chips just as I was going out a recovery, but that is it.
